Breaking the Silence: A Conversation on Stigma and Shame Surrounding Sex, Abortion, and Birth Control @ Unitarian Universalist Congregation in South Miami
Breaking the Silence: A conversation on stigma and shame surrounding sex, abortion, and birth control. People who receive reproductive healthcare services may feel isolated, powerless, silenced and ashamed. For those who belong in minority communities these feelings may become magnified because of cultural values. We kindly invite you to join us on Saturday, July 22nd from 2 pm - 4 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in South Miami to continue the conversation on how we can break the silence surrounding reproductive health and abortion in our diverse Miami community.
I will be a guest speaker sharing my own perspective on reproductive health. There will also be speakers from National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health and Planned Parenthood.
Spanish translation service will be provided.
Food and beverages will be provided.
